Level One: Beginning Sommelier - Start your sommelier training by exploring the fundamentals of wine, primary grape varietals, grape history and learning professional tasting skills.
Level Two: Intermediate Sommelier - Deepen your wine knowledge with advanced concepts, winemaking and viticulture with tastings.
Level Three: Advanced Sommelier - You’ll be taking a deep dive into several winemaking regions and countries understanding the influences of winemaking, climate and vintages. You’ll be testing your skills with a written exam and blind tasting several wines.
Passing all three courses of the sommelier program, including all written and blind tasting exams, earns you the official Madison College Sommelier Pin - a mark of your accomplishment and expertise in the field.

You'll learn the science and chemistry behind winemaking in this 5-week comprehensive course. Rob will take you from Fermentation to Bottling in this course.
